Tips to Saving Space in Your Bathroom

This shower brings a corner space-saver concept into the bathroom. A tempered-glass door effortlessly swings open with stainless-steel hinges. This is easy to clean, and the coated glass helps the shower look its best at all times. This style would complement any modern bathroom, whether it is big or small.

  • Stainless steel hinges
  • Tempered glass
  • Custom sizes available to fit your bathrooms needs.
  • Multiple handle options to open door

When working in small Spaces you must consider all options to maintain a full bathroom design. Corner showers are a great option when looking to optimize your bathroom. In the above picture you can see an example that shows just how beautiful you can make this design in your space. Other options to consider are vanities.

Vanities may be the norm but pedestal sinks are a good replacement when space is a concern. We have also taken small spaces and added a wall mounted shelving and sink Combination to make it feel more open.

The biggest problem with most small bathrooms is the inability to store necessary items such as towels and toiletries. The best way to improve a small bathroom is to add storage solutions that require little space or repurpose existing space that is going unused.

1. Install a Corner Sink

Occupy space that isn’t being used and open more room for walking space by swapping out your traditional vanity for one that fits in a corner.

2. Swap Out Your Bathtub for a Shower

Removing a full bathtub will free up space in your bathroom. You can opt for a corner shower or go curbless and make your shower a seamless part of the room.

3. Extend Counter Over the Toilet

If your sink and vanity are next to your toilet, add counter space by extending the counter over the back of the toilet. This will provide you with extra space for everyday use but be sure to leave a gap that is large enough to lift away the lid of the toilet tank for any possible repairs in the future.

4. Install Shelves Between Studs ( Recessed Wall Shelving)

A creative way to open your bathroom is to use existing space in your wall and utilize recessed shelves, also called a wall niche. Cut a cavity into the drywall, build a shelving unit to fit the space, install shelving and then repair the wall. A simple solution to your lack of storage options.

5. Get Rid of Swinging Shower Door

Shower Doors are typically a swinging door, save space by switching it out for sliding doors or a shower curtain. There are also curved shower rod options used to save even more space.

6. Entryway Pocket Door or sliding barn door

A traditional bathroom door can be replaced with a pocket sliding door to eliminate the extra space needed to allow a door to swing into the room. Inswing doors will always pose a problem in smaller rooms. When doing a bathroom remodel, it would be a perfect time to think about the framing since walls will be open. This concept would be a great addition to a tight space.
