Of course, our first supplier or should I say suppliers are Home Depot and Lowes. We listed these for obvious reasons. They will have most of what you would need to get the job done all in one place. We use these suppliers for over 80% of our materials due to convenience. Their pricing is competitive and when you’re not buying bulk items then they are the best choice. No truck no problem, They offer delivery on materials which makes large purchases such as deck materials or framing for larger jobs easier and hassle free. These two suppliers offer a 10% veteran discount while most other building suppliers don’t have this type of benefit.

This local supplier offers materials such as cabinets and vanities for bathroom and kitchen remodels. Ironstone has a large selection of composite decking and handrails for your future deck projects. Ironstone offers free samples to take home so you can take home and see if it will match the look you’re trying to accomplish. If you are looking for exterior doors or a common sized vinyl window at a great price, then this would be our go to supplier. Ironstone does not have dimensional lumber such as 2×4, 4×4 etc. but their website is usually up to date with in-stock materials. 3. Lezzer Lumber
We know this sounds like just another lumber yard, but they have many other products that you can order from bath vanities to roofing supplies. Lezzer lumber has your dimensional lumber for typical framing jobs and deck projects unlike ironstone building materials. Now we personally don’t use Lezzer lumber too often so in price comparison it wouldn’t be at the top of our list. We do know they have quality materials that you can expect to hold up very well and outlast some of the typical materials you get from the big box suppliers. Lezzer also delivers loads which again is very convenient when you have those larger projects with no good way to pick everything up at once. They have just started the curbside pickup benefit that Lowes and Home Depot implemented since the Covid-19 breakout and it will probably be something they continue for their client’s long term. They have a team on standby to help you design your bath, kitchen and flooring needs that will assist in putting your vision together. The next supplier we find value in around Lancaster PA. is G.R. Mitchell. We currently install a fair number of cabinets that are supplied by this building material supplier. They have different levels of materials for all budgets and are definitely worth looking into before starting your next project. They have materials from lumber and cabinetry to sealing the envelope of your home. They also have tools so in a pinch you can always stop by your local GR Mitchell first and see if they have what you need. This supplier is very helpful and will even assist in sourcing the hard-to-find materials whether in stock or not within a couple days. This is not the typical building supplier like we have listed above. This company supplies materials for concrete and landscaping jobs. If you have a concrete job that needs more concrete than you want to mix, give them a call about their metered concrete services to help with that. You can also get your stone, mulch or brick through Musser’s Supply Inc. This supplier also offers delivery services for their materials. We believe it’s worth looking into before starting any exterior work in the spring and summer. We use this company for all our concrete supplies and thought it would be a great final supplier for homeowners with exterior work.
