🛠️ The Full Tub-to-Shower Conversion (3-Day Process)
✅ Day 1 – Removal & Rough Plumbing
We removed the fiberglass tub and surround down to the studs. Our team reframed areas behind the wall for strength and replaced the outdated valve with a new Moen unit. Since this was a tub-to-shower conversion, we also relocated the drain for proper shower placement.
We finished Day 1 with all-new PEX water lines, reinforced framing, and a clean foundation for the new system.
✅ Day 2 – Pan & Wall Panel Installation
The next morning, we set the new low-threshold Samuel Mueller shower base in a full mortar bed to ensure long-term stability.
Then we:
Installed moisture-resistant drywall
Scribed and installed the solid surface wall panels
Back wall first, then the valve wall, and finally the return
Installed a clean, built-in shower niche for daily essentials
